SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION AND SUPPORT FOR OUR COURAGEOUS MEN AND WOMEN IN BLUE
PORTLAND, OR – June 18, 2024 – The first annual “Light Up the Lake” celebration will take place over two nights, July 27 and 28, in Lake Oswego, OR. These two unforgettable evenings will feature a beautiful lakeside setting with amazing entertainment, food, local celebrities, and the opportunity to participate in a charity auction with some incredible items. These are events to promote unity around showing appreciation and support for the men and women in blue who courageously “serve and protect” our communities and to recognize the amazing work of The Wounded Blue organization, a national assistance and support organization for injured and disabled law enforcement officers.

Country singer NATE BOTSFORD and his band will provide entertainment on July 27 for a distinctive VIP experience that includes a dinner hosted by PROLETARIATBUTCHERY and ZEPH SHEPARD, the “Facilitator of Meat Stuff”. This unique dining adventure will offer different stations including salting of the side of beef, sausage making, tartare prep, jambon, and many other delectable meats. New Zealand style ice cream with curated Willamette Valley berries from NICO’S will be on the menu for the perfect desert treat for a warm summer’s night by the lake. This special and intimate celebration will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The July 28 celebration at Millennium Park Plaza features a concert in the park, local food trucks, photobooth, door prizes and raffle. Groove to the rhythm of Portland rock band STIM PAK as they deliver electrifying live music setting the stage for an evening of celebration and unity. This Party in the Park will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The online charity auction features amazing items and experiences including Taylor Swift autographed guitars, an Alaska Gold Expedition with Discovery Channel’s Hoffman Family, training session with Olympic Wrestler and Ultimate Champion Hendo Henderson, an Electric “E” Bike with a charming sidecar, and epic trips to the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in British Columbia, Breckenridge Mountain Getaway and Broadstone @ Scottsdale Quarter in the Arizona Valley. Additional autographed times include a “Slash” guitar, Conor McGregor UFC Glove and 1980 “Miracle” U.S. Olympic Hockey team jersey.
